Variety* (asterisk) Denotes variety as open-pollinated, and in most cases a legitimate heirloom.

Growth habit: Det = Determinate (Grows to a certain height, then stops. Most of crop is borne within a 4 to 6 week period.) Ind = Indeterminate (Continues to grow and bear fruit all through the growing season. Perhaps not as many fruits on at one time as determinate types, but may produce more overall because of extended harvest season.)

Cherry Tomatoes

 Golden Pearl*  67 Ind  Tiny golden yellow fruits over a long season. Pairs well with Ruby Pearl.  16
 Husky Cherry Gold VF  72  Dwarf Indeterm  Abundant golden fruit, larger than the average cherry and very tasty. Bears all season long on small sturdy plants.  1, 2
 Husky Cherry Red VF  65  Dwarf Indeterm  Great flavored, perfect 1-inch fruits, bearing high yields till frost.   1, 2
 Matt's Wild Cherry*  60 Ind  From the Hidalgo region in Mexico. These sweet cherries have a fuller flavor and better texture than Sweet 100, but do not bear as much.  4
 Micro-Tom  88 Det  Tiny plants, best suited to windowsill, patio, and container planting. Tiny flavorful bright red fruits.  1, 2, 6
 Mountain Belle Cherry Hybrid VF  68 Det   Fruits are bright red, about 1 1/4" across and about 1 oz. Crack resistant and good keepers.  1, 2
 Peacevine Cherry  75 Ind  Highest Vitamin C content in a cherry tomato! Productive plants stay relatively compact, but need support. 1/2-3/4 inch fruits. 3, 11, 20 
 Red Currant*  73 Ind  This is a tiny ancestor of tomatoes as we know them today. The plants are very delicate, suitable for hanging baskets, and the TINY fruits are tart.  1,2,4,7,11, 14,19, 21
 Red Pear*  70 Ind  Similar to Yellow Pear with strong tall vines that bear small pear-shaped 3/4-1 oz red fruits. Richer flavor.  1, 2, 4, 14
 Red Robin  55 Det  Extra sweet fruits on a very dwarf plant. Good for container, windowsill and patio planting.  1, 2, 18

 Reisentraube*  70 Ind  German heirloom grown in Pennsylvania Dutch country as early as 1855. Fruits come in great clusters like grapes!  1, 2, 21
 Rose Quartz  65 Ind   Egg shaped big cherry tomatoes are an unusual deep rosy-pink. Japanese variety comes in cluster like grapes, and has excellent disease resistance.  16
 Ruby Pearl  67 Ind  Chinese cherry. A crack-resistant very sweet cherry tomato, thumbnail sized. They can be picked like grapes.  16
 Small Fry VFN  65  Det  Bite-size 1 oz red juicy fruits come in clusters. Compact plants.  1, 2
 Sun Gold  57  Ind  Golden yellow sugar-sweet cherries. The standard for good taste and sweetness.  1,2,3,4,6, 14, 15, 16, 23
 Suncherry Hybrid  58 Ind  Suncherry is the RED sister to Sun Gold. Delicious petite fruits have melting sweet flavor and come in clusters of 20 or more fruits.  1, 4 23
 Super Sweet 100  78 Ind  Clusters of very sweet small fruits. Needs large support and responds well to light pruning. Will split after rain.  1,2,3,9, 14, 16, 18, 23
 Sweet Chelsea VF, TVM  68 Ind  Round large cherries, bright red and very sweet.  1,2,3,6,23
 Sweetie  75 Ind  Extra sweet, 12-14% sugar content, fruits set in clusters.  1,2,8,15,19
 Thai Pink  75 Ind  1 1/2 " oval dark iridescent pink fruit. This old variety from Thailand has been maintained in Oregon for many years and has become a farmer's market favorite.  19

 Tiny Tim  60 Det  Perfect for container growing. Plants average 18" high and bear 3/4" bright red round fruits.  1,2,5,6,13
Toy Boy Hybrid VF  55 Det  Bred for containers and hanging baskets. Plentiful 1 1/2" fruits.   1, 2
 Tumbler  45 Det  Bred especially for hanging baskets. Sweet bright red fruit.  1, 9
Whippersnapper  52 Det  Very early and suitable for hanging baskets and containers.  3, 4
